Thanks for the links. More boredom is downloading even as I type. I’ve already enjoyed volumes 3 and 4.

Tee hee! Closer to ten years. I shot my wad on turntable, speakers, amplifier. I figure on holding out until CDs are obsolete.

I can always play it from my IPod. Or from the laptop, but that’s annoying.

as for the cd-version of volume five, i propose to burn a MP3-cd. unless your cd player is older than five years this should solve the problem. usually, i try to keep my mixes shorter than 74 minutes. but this time i had to deal with a good set of long-term ambient stuff and i couldn’t afford to make it shorter as it is!

So, for those of us who find CDs handy, any suggestion how to break Volume V into two segments less than 80 minutes each? A quick scan with Audacity showed no silence long enough to serve as a track break.

How can I resist 5 volumes of Boring Music? I think that I’ve succeeded in fetching volumes 3, 4, and 5, at least the monolithic *.mp3, perhaps not all the available text and graphics for 3. But I can’t get volumes 1 and 2. The links http://12rec.net/Mix_Sven-Swift_Boring-Music-Vol-2.htm give a 404 – Not found error.

Looking forward to capturing volumes 1 and 2, and to listening (when my wife is away and won’t complain).
